Here are some stories in Bangla by Tridib Sengupta. Some are given in Unicode Bangla Webpage (HTML) and the others in PDF. You may directly go to the Story Webpages. If they don't work, and you are not very sure about the File Formats or how to handle them, you may go to the Help about File Formats Page. In the Index of the stories given below, the PDF links in the left column, and the HTML links in the right column. If you can properly read the names of the stories in the right column, then your System does already have the Unicode Bangla support. So, you can directly read the stories in HTML by clicking the links. But, if the Bangla characters do not show, or, they are mangled, you may take the help in the Help about File Formats Page. Some Stories by Tridib Sengupta in Bangla
Mahammad, my son, who does not live with me from 1996, once requested me to write a story for him. I tried hard. But could not. Much later, once again, from my interactions with Dia, my niece and a very valuable friend, I wrote one. Though I know as a childrens' story this failed, but, somehow I liked it, if not for any other reason, at least for this that I tried it for Mahammad. You can see pictures of Mahammad, Dia, and my daughter Ru in my Flickr site. Here you can read that story: Story about 'Dia' in Bangla. And those who do not have the Unicode Bangla support in their system, can read it in PDF:Same story in PDFHelp About File Formats |
